HISTORY

The history of Mark Decor. is somewhat simple. I started this business in March 2005 with a desire and determination to provide quality painting and historical restoration. My experience dates back to 1995. After working for several years, I decided to pursue higher education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration ( Mansfield University).

In 2002, I applied for a position with the local Sherwin Williams paint store in Wellsboro, PA. During my senior year in college, I discovered that Sherwin Williams offered internships with possible career opportunities. My final college semester was spent completing a 15-week management training program/internship at the Bloomburg, PA location. Unfortunately, a family member became ill during the internship and I had to decline career opportunities with the company because I was unable to relocate.

It took several brief encounters with corporate and local business to encourage my thoughts and manipulate my career path towards starting my own business. Fortunately, it was the right decision. Working directly with customers and providing a service that I enjoy has been truly rewarding.
